Cancer Awareness Trust supports ambassador, Nina Lopes, to launch her new brand

Nina Lopes has been with us right from the start, providing invaluable guidance and knowledge as a result of her own journey with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer.

One of the poignant challenges Nina shared was how a diagnosis like hers can, and frequently does, impact a person's employment and subsequently their income. How it leads to stress and anxiety at a time when they should be able to focus on prioritising their health.

Nina turned to social media as a way to share her experience and, encouraged by a friend, as a means to generate a new income stream. Since then, Nina’s social presence has helped connect and uplift so many people, while simultaneously providing her with an income that cancer had taken away. Cancer Awareness Trust has helped to strengthen the ‘Nina Lopes’ brand, supporting the creation of a new logo and website, which will aid her efforts to further connect and create new opportunities.

We believe in the power of collaboration and connection. Our ambassador programme aims to support people on their own individual journeys, empowering them to amplify their stories, and ultimately to help people live with hope and optimism.
