Jesse Robinson joins as Chief Tech Officer & US Liaison

Following the announcement of Fuel as our latest Founding Partner, we're delighted to share that their Co-Founder, Jesse Robinson, becomes the latest addition to our team as our Chief Tech Officer (CTO) & US Liaison.

Jesse is based in Salt Lake City and represents our first of many recruits outside the UK who will bring leadership to the development, design and delivery of Cancer Platform globally. Jesse will lead on the technical development journey of the platform, working closely with ustwo and our team including the newly appointed and soon to be announced, Chief Data Officer, and our Strategic Advisor, Deborah Szebeko.

Jesse will also work alongside our Managing Director, Director of Fundraising, Founders, Founding Patrons and Partners to develop our relationships and delivery across North America, meaning we speed up and deepen our impact outside Europe. We’ll also develop a closer relationship with our Founding Partner, the Tyler Robinson Foundation, which Jesse founded and continues to form part of their board.

On joining, Jesse shares, "My passion for changing the cancer landscape runs deep, unfortunately not by choice. I have however, chosen to take action in my career and personal life to make a difference for families impacted by a cancer diagnosis. I am incredibly excited and blessed to be merging efforts with the Cancer Awareness Trust, going further together than separate."

Managing Director, Tony Colville comments, “If 2023 was the year we got lucky, 2024 is the year we get real. Our strategy for this year is called ‘Get on with it’ and the appointment of Jesse is a big step towards being able to actually get on with building the platform that will transform millions of lives. I’m super excited, and so is the team, not just for what this means for our platform development, but also for our plans in the US and Canada. Welcome Jesse!”
