Impact focused tech accelerator, Fuel, becomes Founding Partner

The Cancer Awareness Trust is excited to announce our latest collaboration with Fuel, a US based, impact focused, tech accelerator.

Fuel partners with companies and non-profits to build elite technology and combine them with leading tech strategies for short and long-term gains. With a wealth of expertise in all phases of the start-up journey and a robust list of accessible partners, Fuel focuses on good design, and repurposing their IP for others to deliver social good.

That’s the purpose of our collaboration. Fuel brings not only the energy and expertise of their team, but also existing IP in a paediatric cancer platform previously developed, but not yet launched. Their experience building this platform and its underlying assets, will expedite and improve the development of Cancer Platform.  Fuel will work with our existing tech partners to explore how best to deploy the IP and work together on the final design of the Cancer Platform.

Jesse Robinson, Co-Founder of The Tyler Robinson Foundation and Fuel Impact said, “I have been passionate about using technology as one of the many vehicles in making a difference. I was thrown into the world of impact, when my brother passed away from cancer and was given the unique opportunity to co-found a foundation with Grammy Award winning band, Imagine Dragons. Ever since, I have been fortunate to provide transparent technology for impact related projects, which set the foundation for why this partnership is a perfect collaboration. It's also prepared me for taking on the U.S. Liaison and CTO position for the Cancer Awareness Trust.”

Professor Sir Chris Evans, Founder of the Cancer Awareness Trust said, “Meeting Jesse through our existing partnership with the Tyler Robinson Foundation was a chance opportunity but possibly one of the most important meetings all year. Jesse’s own track record, let alone that of Fuel and their willingness to share IP that will help to get us there quicker, design it better and stay true to our values of collaboration not duplication, is incredible. I am truly excited and grateful for this timely collaboration.”
