Anne-Marie & Edward Mallinckrodt become Founding Patrons & support our Christmas appeal

This Christmas our Founders and team are sending out a very special Christmas card, made possible thanks to our latest Founding Patrons, Anne-Marie and Edward Mallinckrodt. We’re honoured to announce them both as part of The Cancer Awareness Trust family and to immediately collaborate with them on this project, which hopes to raise funds for the development of the Cancer Platform.

The 2023 Christmas card features the beautiful work of artist Anne-Marie, depicting the globally recognised and iconic Arlington Row in Bibury, titled “Christmas Eve walkies with Truffle”. UK Passport holders will recognise the image from their passports, whilst visitors from around the world will know it as one of the UK's most widely photographed streets due to its quintessential and picturesque feel.

“Edward and I are delighted to support this wonderful charity. Cancer has affected family and friends close to us and I can’t think of a better charity to support on their journey, to not only cure cancer but to help those who are fighting it. Well done Chris and your amazing team.” Anne-Marie Mallinckrodt.

“I have known Anne-Marie and Edward for many, many years and it’s a real pleasure to announce them as Founding Patrons and as collaborators on a really special Christmas appeal. Anne-Marie’s stunning illustration of the ancient Arlington Row in Bibury makes a beautiful image for our Christmas card appeal and I’m sure it’ll raise a lot of money for the charity, helping us get there quicker with the all-important Cancer Platform.” Founder Prof. Sir Chris Evans.

All funds raised from the Christmas Card appeal will support our work on childhood cancer on the Cancer Platform.
