Who We Are

Uniting through music to change the course of cancer

Evamore Music Group is on a mission to become the home for every artist wanting to unite and help change the course of cancer.

Through releases, live events, merchandise and songwriting camps, we’ll provide the space to collaborate and create in new and inspiring ways.

Our primary output will be original music releases – tracks created by artists across all genres to give a voice to the endless perceptions of those who have been impacted by cancer. Our logo is the embodiment of this vision, using our

Evamore eye to emphasise the importance of seeing things through the eyes of others. Whether the artists we work with have personal experiences to inspire their writing, or simply share our vision, we will enable a freedom to make extraordinary work. This will be grounded in the real stories of people with lived experience of cancer and through a clear purpose to raise awareness of and funds for Cancer Platform.

Our Founder

Prof. Sir Chris Evans

Evamore Music Group was founded by Professor Sir Chris Evans, eminent scientist and biotech entrepreneur and the co-founder of Cancer Awareness Trust and Cancer Platform.

The entity began as a hobby, a way to lay down the music that had been playing in his mind. He brought in friends and collaborators, including some of the world's leading stars from across the world of film and music, moved and humbled by his ambition to tell the stories of people with lived experiences of cancer.

The result was a string of independent releases featuring Sinead O Connor, Cillian Murphy, Ozzy Osbourne, Glenn Close and many more.

Realising the appetite of people to support the charity, and the potential for the organisation to do so much more to raise funds for and the profile of Cancer Platform, he turned the seeds of an idea into the music group he is passionate about building upon today.

Evamore Music Presents, An evening with Andy Taylor and special guests

Evamore Music Presents is the events arm of Evamore Music. It is an exciting new division of the label, specifically aimed at delivering phenomenal live music events globally, which will raise funds for and awareness of Cancer Platform.

In October 2022, we were delighted to hold our first event, ‘An Evening With Andy Taylor’. Andy is not only the acclaimed guitarist, writer and founding member of Duran Duran, but also one of the first Cancer Awareness Trust Ambassadors.

Alongside a host of iconic special guests, the evening was a celebration of his extraordinary music career and cancer journey. Hosted at Soho Farmhouse (Soho House & Co are one of Cancer Awareness Trusts Founding Patrons), the event and brought together creatives from the rock, pop, art, comedy and science worlds, proudly welcoming over 150 guests.

The evening kicked off with a panel talk between Andy Taylor and Prof. Sir Chris Evans, hosted by presenter, Nina Nannar, and further delivered a comedy set by Katherine Ryan. Live music followed from a supergroup formed specifically for the evening, that included Andy Taylor, Robert Plant and Ella Henderson. We rounded the night off with a DJ set from Andrew Ridgeley of WHAM!

The event was the first time in 16 years that Robert Plant had played Stairway to Heaven live, and set us a high bar to follow with our future events, gaining strong global press coverage. Luckily, Evamore Music is more than ready for the challenge, with further events already in the planning stages for London, LA and Sydney later this year.
