Nick Jones of Soho House Group, becomes Founding Patron of the Cancer Awareness Trust

January continues to deliver exciting announcements… we are delighted to welcome Soho House Founder and restaurateur, Nick Jones, as our latest Founding Patron.

Our Founding Patrons and Partners open up their expertise, networks, and quite often their personal experiences of cancer to help us in designing and delivering The Cancer Platform and put forward resources to help us build the team required to get there quickly. Nick brings all of the above. Nick was diagnosed and treated for prostate cancer in 2022 and is now cancer free, an experience he says has changed his perspective and focus.

“After my own journey with Cancer last year, I know I was one of the lucky ones to get the all clear, so I am thrilled to be able to offer my help and support to The Cancer Platform. The work they’re doing to support those of us experiencing cancer either first hand or through a loved one is invaluable. This platform will help make an unimaginably difficult time, just that little bit easier to process.” Nick Jones, Founder – Soho House & Co.

“I am delighted to welcome Soho House Founder Nick Jones to our team of Founding Patrons for The Cancer Awareness Trust. Nick’s own experience of cancer brings truly valuable insight to the development of our platform and his network brings us the opportunity to reach many more people to back us on this journey.” Professor Sir Chris Evans, Founder, The Cancer Awareness Trust
